6 Perfumes Like Fantasy by Britney Spears

Britney Spears' Dream has nearly two decades under its belt as a popular celebrity. Many people have liked to wear it. However, with time and years things change. The formula is now slightly different or women may want something with a similar, more grown-up style.

In this post, I want to show you some alternatives to Fantasy that can closely compare or give you something that smells like it.

Favorite Perfumes That Smell Like Fantasy

Citrus White Chocolate

Night of Jafra Adorisse– It has a lot in common with the English Laundry below, but this is a better version. Jafra's Adorisse Night gives you a base of white chocolate and patchouli with citrus and a roll sitting on top.

It's strong and warm, but doesn't have the same level of baked goods or aroma as Fantasy. But, the note of light white chocolate and cream in the drydown is amazing. Plus, Adorisse Nights offers beast performance for under $30.

It doesn't bring the same intensity as Fantasy, more citrus and flowers. But, it offers more grounding and less sugary flavor at a close price point.

Tempting coffee

Coffee Woman Seduction by O Boticario– This has a good combination with Fantasy. The coffee note is the main player here and it doesn't have the same strength as the fruity notes.

So, the coffee and baked goods notes here are key, especially compared to the new Fantasy bottles.

Lots of sweetness with a musky dry down in the back half of the wear. The price is more expensive (in the US, at least) than Britney's perfume. As such, you'll be paying a premium for the smell we want to replicate.

I see it around $50 a bottle, as in the update. It may be too accessible for some, but it's another option.

More mature, Same style

Avon Kude Rebel Eau de Parfum for Women 50ml – 1.7fl.oz.– Far Rebel isn't exactly a game, but it does give you a more mature outfit, with a style similar to that of Avenger.

Rebel is hotter, richer, and less of a sugary/fruity mix than what we were aiming for. However, it still has that aspect with black currant and whipped cream as notes.

The fruit is very heavy on the top, but settles into a creamier/warm gourmand. Black currant can be sharp and bitter.

The end result is a delicious caramel blend, with great performance, and an affordable price tag.

The cheapest way

La Rive Secret Dream by La Rive Eau De Parfum Spray 3 oz Women– With the Fantasy fragrance being reformulated, why not Secret Dream instead? La Rive always releases quality fragrances-a-love and this Britney Spears fragrance hits the mark.

Is it correct? Yes, very close. This one doesn't have the same level of chocolate to my nose and is much sweeter than I remember the old Fantasy (although, the new version is no different to me). Besides that? Yes, it is close.

Not a powerhouse manufacturer, but cheap. Usually, a few bucks less than Britney's version.

Citrus, berries, and cream

Oh So Orange by Juicy Couture– Light and fruity dressing against Fantasy. You get the creaminess and nuttiness of the baked goods/chocolate accord found in the Britney fragrance.

Citrusy, as the name suggests, with lots of orange and some kumquat giving it a strong lift. Whipped cream, musk, and a mix of floral notes help bring it closer to what we want.

This is the least similar to a true Fantasy game. It's more focused on the fruity end of things, but with a nice scent, and it can be found at a good price. But, not every seller. So, you might have to check out this Juicy Couture.

Update: This has made it easier to get discounts since the last update. Here in 2024, I see it in the $30-$40 range. So, it can be a good pick for those who want something different.

Fruity-Tart White Chocolate

English Laundry Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 3.4 Ounce– His English clothing strikes a similar chord with Fantasy, but it's not the same. This is more of a sweet-tart vibe, especially in the early stages of wear. Also, it's lightweight and has none of the cup marks.

You get a nice white chocolate that comes through during the dressing. However, it will retain its light sillage and not go into warm gourmand mode.

When quince and white chocolate take center stage, this one is great. Performance can be good, just incredible. I would try to avoid paying too much for this, but it can be a good option as it is cheap.
