This list of top ten fragrances for men is by the design house, Bvlgari. Each of these perfumes is unique and has its own unique fragrance.

The key, is to find one that blends well with your tastes, and sense of style. All types are represented here, from water to spicy or woodsy scents.

Mostly all of them are among Bvlgari's most famous, and some, lesser gems. Some will be more flexible than a few niche benefits on the list and I try to explain where each falls on the spectrum.

Favorite Best Bvlgari Colognes for Men

Top Winter/Nightlife Bvlgari Fragrance

Bvlgari Man in Black Eau de Parfum Spray for Men, 3.4 Ounce
Black Man by Bvlgari is my favorite cologne from this brand. I love its dark, spicy, and boozy scent. It's one thing that I've had a lot of things to wear, over the past two years, including one girl telling me over and over again how 'sexy it is'.

It wasn't something I was crazy about at first, but this cologne grew on me in a big way. Wearing this on a cold evening, really let the fragrance shine.

This one goes very dark and has a low smoke sound, which is great. Boozy and spicy, then smooth and warm.

The Black Man is a spice infused with rum, and smooth leather and creamy tonka bean to balance it out. Add to that, tobacco plus oud, and you have a distinctly masculine scent. Man in Black Full Review

Update: A Parfum version of this has been released. It's a spicier mix, without the rum, with a hint of iris that gives it some contrast. I still prefer the EDP.

Top Spring/Summer fragrance overall

Bvlgari Man Extreme by Bvlgari 3.4 oz Eau de Toilette Spray– Man Extreme has much better staying power, than the original Bvlgari Man (listed below on the page). However, the two are not alike in the way they smell.

Man Extreme is led by citrus, with vetiver undertones. Wood and Vetiveris the main method of joining these metals. Finally, the plant comes to different places.

Most importantly, it is the inclusion of a large and distinctive feature, the cactus. It's a fresh citrus scent, for the warmer months, and a note that really helps set it apart. It's pretty, works well, and the sillage isn't too loud.

Citrus and cactus combined, the top is really amazing. It's a dry scent, similar to the beginning, and you get the freshness and smoothness of vetiver in the final stages. In addition, some light cardamom spices.

Summer fabrics

Tygar is Bvlgari– Tygar is one of the most exclusive and expensive brand fragrances. It's not too complicated, but it's a great citrus dressing for the warmer months of the year.

To me, it splits the difference Afternoon Swim and Immensite by LV. This goes with the heavy use of grapefruit (sounds like an orange), like citrus. With amber and wood to round things out.

It also has a fresh kick with a lovely ginger note and a musky finish that is joined by an amber note in the back half.

It's not exactly the same as any of these Louis Vuitton perfumes, but it gives you the same feeling that's well put together, in a cool and casual cologne for summer.

The best of Oceanic Aqva

BVLGARI Aqva Atlantiqve Eau de Toilette Spray, 3.3 ounce– The Aqva line occupies its place in the world of men's fragrances. You have to be a fan of sea / ocean perfumes to really appreciate them.

Atlantiqve is probably the best, in my mind. This is a very nice fragrance from a brand that is like a marine version Versace's Dylan Blue.

The two are very similar at first, when the citrus is strong. The sea notes are there, but not too salty, and there is definitely ambergris.

Atlantiqve does a great job of bringing out the depth of the ocean, while still bringing out the sweet citrus notes. The final stages really start to bring out the amber notes and dryness. Salt with that note of amberwood, which is found in it Light Blue Eau Intense.

The Newest Casual Wear

Bvlgari Blv By Bvlgari For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 Oz.
Bvlgari Blv is a fragrance that stands alone, in its own unique way. It has that familiar and subtle spice of ginger and cardamom.

It has a very new floor and wooden/exterior points, holding its foundation.

Blv brings its green tobacco note, especially the flower, which plays very well from the ginger top. I dig this one, like ginger, it doesn't seem to play too much as a strong note. It's usually a role player, but here, it gets a chance to shine.

Blv is an everyday wear for casual situations or an office setting. That key spice is wrapped in fine flour, which is great. My review of Blv

Top Woodsy / Unique

Bvlgari Man Eau de Toilette Spray for Men, 5 OuncesBvlgari Man is a soft, smooth, and sweet woody fragrance with a hint of honey at its heart. A person is not a fragrance at all, but wants others to come close to smell the fragrance.

It opens with violet leaf, pear, lotus, and a hint of citrus. Sweet, while floral/woody, and more dry.

The floral notes will lighten, as it progresses, and you will be left with more vetiver and woods. Bvlgari Masculine is clean, dry sweet, and aromatic at first.

That's not to say that Bvlgari Man is completely weak, it's not, it's more subtle, refined, and masculine but use more sprays. I wish it was bolder and had higher sillage, because it's pretty unique and smells great. Full Bvlgari Man review

Update: It has been discontinued.

Neroli Clean

Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli– A great spring/summer outfit in the same style Neroli Portofino by Tom Fordbut it is not the same at all. Wood Neroli, very woody (as the name suggests), especially in the dry.

It opens with a fresh touch of bergamot and a signature neroli note. It has a nice balance of citrus juice and roll in the first bit of dressing. After that, neroli will get the upper hand among them.

Drying down is where this one really takes on its unique qualities. Cypriol, cedar, and other woody notes combine with musk and amber in the base.

The earlier stages feel more like pure soap. After that, it switches to a new clean woodsier.

Category Bvlgari Cologne

Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir by Bvlgari For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 oz
Homme Soir is a simple and straightforward cologne, but I don't think I've ever come across anything quite like it.

It is a beautiful and sophisticated fragrance that shines in using a limited number of notes.

There is a citrus top of bergamot and a green tea scent. All this is surrounded by a warm amber note and a clean dry papyrus.

Update: This is being discontinued for a while now. However, the brand has released a new EDP version of Pour Homme. So, maybe this one will get an update at some point.

bvlgari in the evening

Original Casual Aquatic

Bvlgari Aqua By Bvlgari For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 ozAqva is clearly an aquatic fragrance. From the beginning we get a strong mix of two types of orange, salty seaweed, and cedar driftwood.

It has that sea energy and the water is full of citrus fruits, which hits hard at first.

However, citrus is not always full of everything many are aquatic and finishes with medium silage. The orange note, in fact, fades quickly, and you get the seaweed coming into its full effect.

That's combined with the lavender and the remaining cedar. It's really a great scent for the summer months and you feel like you're at the beach. Full Bvlgari Aqva Review

Essence Line

Bvlgari Man Wood Essence– For me, the Essence line was a disappointment for Bvlgari. But, there are those who love it, and Wood Essence is the best among them.

I was surprised that this and The worldthey were the pieces I enjoyed the most in the series. I would like though it could be others.

It starts with a mixture of sweetness and citrus zest. It's not heavy or overpowering with citrus notes, but it feels refreshing.

Coriander shines for about 15 minutes, but this one will be led by cypress and cedar notes.

Not very impressive and functional. Although, it is suitable for many purposes.

It would be my last pick in this list, but I think Wood Essence delivers a beautiful enough fragrance to be included in the current crop of fragrances from the brand. Wood Essence Review
